"After some years of struggle, business results improved as decision-making became faster and more fact-based."
Context and challenges
Forming a high-performing and united team with managers coming from different regions, with very individual and different leadership styles and habits.
Approach used
Thierry used several analytical tools to first establish a transparent inventory of the various personalities and leadership styles. With individual coaching and team discussions, common goals were agreed as well as what individuals could do in their roles to help achieve this “one goal”. In a very personal way, Thierry took all team members along the journey. It quickly became apparent that the performance of the team not only depended on the addition of individual strengths but also highly benefited from the diversity of individual - sometimes opposite - characters.
Results achieved
The management team became united, focusing on its common objectives rather than on individual agendas. Personal styles were understood so they could be managed either by the individual of within the team. After some years of struggle, business results improved as decision-making became faster and more fact-based.
